CSI is an activity that is done to really make a positive change in the society that the giver lives in. In identifying a suitable Corporate Social Responsibility activity, FAIDIKA tried to steer clear of activities that would duplicate efforts already in place and discovered a unique opportunity of impacting families directly and the community as a whole by selecting people with physical disadvantages.

FAIDIKA then decided to focus activities towards people living with disabilities, especially women.

Our strategy covers the following areas:

• Identification of people with special mobility needs that could be solved using a wheel chair. We will identify a person with disability whose life will be turned around using a wheel chair.
• Evaluation of a need that would make the wheelchair product viable.
• Execution of the grants to people with disabilities.
• Basic entrepreneur training and health checks. Medical service providers will be approached to partner with corporates. The training would be carried out on location by corporate partner teams using easy to use training courses.
• FAIDIKA follow ups to ensure effective use of the resources provided.
